HYROX Training
HYROX is the ultimate training in functional fitness. It combines running with simple functional movements to build capacity across strength, power and endurance.
Geelong Fitness is an official HYROX Training Club delivering structured, coached HYROX training and race-style simulations.
Why HYROX Works
HYROX works because it follows a clear training framework. The movements are simple, the structure is repeatable, and the demands are consistent. This allows fitness to be built progressively, not accidentally.
Training develops running capacity, functional strength, and the ability to sustain effort under fatigue. Sessions are programmed with intent and coached properly, so progress comes from structure rather than novelty.
Purposeful Training
HYROX training follows the official race format. Sessions combine running and ski erg work with functional stations including sled pushes, sandbag carries, wall balls, rowing, and burpees.
The movements are simple and repeatable, allowing fitness to be built progressively through structure rather than variation. Training develops the ability to sustain output and move well under fatigue.
For Every Fitness Level
HYROX Training is for every body. Simple functional movements and a low entry point allow sessions to be scaled through coaching without changing their purpose. You don’t need to compete to train HYROX.
Be Part of Something Bigger
HYROX connects structured training with in-house simulations, local events, and official races. As a HYROX Training Club, Geelong Fitness supports members who want to compete while delivering the same structured training to those who don’t.
Everyone trains within the same system, supported by coaching and shared standards.
HYROX Training Club Benefits
As an official HYROX Training Club, Geelong Fitness provides HYROX-aligned training, in-house simulations, structured prep blocks, and early access to HYROX race tickets when available.
What Our Members Are Saying
Your HYROX Journey Starts Here
HYROX training at Geelong Fitness follows a clear structure. Some members use it to prepare for races. Others use it to build functional fitness through a defined, coached system.
The next 6-week HYROX Training Program starts Tuesday 7th April. It includes up to five coached sessions per week, structured progression, and a full race simulation on 16th May. Spots are limited.
Not sure if it’s right for you? That’s what the free consult is for. Book a conversation, talk through your goals and training background, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
